Great Britain provides an astounding wealth of history, along with the natural scenic beauty of its varied country side. From the rolling Downs of Sussex to the romantic craggy outcrops of Cornwall, we are never far from a castle, stately home, palace, or other historically significant location. It is our purpose and pleasure to explore this land and provide you, the visitor, with the best possible tours, expert advice and consultation, whether you are visiting on business, pleasure, or both.

British Country Tours is on location, both in the USA and in Great Britain. From our office, deep in the Sussex countryside, we maintain a consistent high quality control, and that extra measure of tender loving care, because at BCT we handle every aspect of your British tour arrangements.

Visiting historic sites, admiring beautiful scenery, and smelling the roses,  should be a fun experience for young and old alike. At BCT we offer five levels of service to assist you, and provide you, with the best possible British vacation:

1. BCT identifies an existing coach tour that goes a long way to satisfy your itinerary requirements. The primary advantage of such tours is price, and that price often includes roundtrip air from the USA. Drawback is that you are a member of a larger touring group, on fixed timing and itinerary. Coach tours have come a long way over the past few years. Comfortable, air conditioned, coaches with more legroom. Please email your desires to sales@britishcountrytours.com

2. BCT designs a complete custom itinerary with specific directions on how to get from point a to point b, utilizing local public train, bus, rental car, or taxi services. This would be a great choice for those who do not mind a little extra walking and who are a little more adventurous at heart. For example to get to Stonehenge on your own, using public transportation, would require a train ride to Salisbury, then catching the local bus to Stonehenge. 3. Very similar to choice 2 above, with the exception that we subcontract with approved local tour suppliers for visits to specific locations., thus alleviating some of the ‘uncertainty’ that may exist. For example to get to Stonehenge we may arrange a day trip from London, that takes you to Salisbury and Stonehenge. This may be with several other passengers, or it could be arranged with a private chauffer. Click here

4. At BCT we offer a limited number of ‘scheduled’ tours . These are fully escorted very small group deluxe tours. Click here.

5. BCT designs a complete custom itinerary based on your specific desires. We escort you where you want, when you want, we can also vary the stops, times*, content, etc. as this is your tour.  We provide an expert guide (and driver if required)  who travels with you for the duration. Transportation may be by road or rail as you desire based on our recommendations. The big advantage of this tour style is that you get exactly want you want. Our guides can get you ‘off the beaten’ track to see countryside and areas that many vacationers only dream of. The downside being that it tends to be more expensive, however, the larger the group, the less expensive it becomes as certain fixed costs are now spread over more clients. Click here
